Self Esteem


General Description


This training session instructs individuals regarding self-awareness and mental self-status of oneself. Participants will receive valuable opportunity to conceptualize the process regarding self-esteem and respect of others. This course will provide opportunities to explore and understand self-esteem and why it is important.

This course employs instructor/participant interaction, involving class room discussion, self-evaluation and exercises for cognitive restructuring. It is a six contact hour course. Participants will be taught strategies to achieve personal goals that are identified at the beginning of the training session and reiterated at the conclusion of the session.


Course Objectives:

By the end of this training session, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate through verbal and/or written means the definition of self-esteem as defined in this instruction
  • Recognize and enhance the factors that develop self-esteem
  • Identify the elements of self-esteem through class discussion and instruction
  • Employ strategies to achieve a self-esteem appropriate for any environment

Suggested Course Length

We can tailor the course to fit your time constraints. While we encourage a full one-day course, we also have a half-day session.

0.6 CEU's will be awarded upon completion.
